The Beacon is purpose-built and equipped to a very high standard.
Bedrooms
We have 44 beds in a combination of rooms that sleep either two or four people. We can also provide two z-beds, enabling 46 guests to visit in total.
Catering
We have our own kitchen providing freshly cooked meals for all our guests, including those with special diets. Tea and coffee facilities are available in the dining room at all times for teachers and group leaders.
Accessibility
The Beacon has wheelchair access to first floor bedrooms and all main areas. There is a fully accessible bathroom and shower.
Fire pit
The fire pit is a great place for your group to reflect and relax in the evenings.
Indoor games
Pool, table tennis and table football are available for use during free time, along with a variety of board games.
Meeting room
The Cave is a spacious area for classroom sessions, assemblies, workshops, worship, meetings or just relaxing. A digital projector, computer and internet access are available for leaders and teachers wishing to show presentations or movies.
Sports field
We have a purpose-built grassed playing area, suitable for football and other games.
Sports hall
This is an excellent all-weather facility for football, volleyball, basketball, badminton and other games. It is also the venue for our archery sessions.
