The Beacon is set in 280 acres on the Lee Abbey estate in the Exmoor National Park. The centre overlooks our own private beach, where the moorland changes to wooded valleys sweeping down to the sea.
It is approached through the dramatic Valley of Rocks – home to one of the oldest herds of feral goats in the country.
Nearby are the village of Lynton and the small harbour of Lynmouth, set one above the other and linked by an ingenious water-powered cliff railway.
